I certainly agree with Frank about the 1-ply; for pen- and -ink, it has
always been my first choice. Not only can you trace with it easily, but
when using very fine pen tips (6x0 technical or fine crowquills) I found
that it takes a better line-- the surface is definately different (use
Pounce or something similar to clean surface before inking). And over the
years I've had to do a lot of erasing, and have not yet ruined a drawing.
The electric erasor polishes the paper as it erases and leaves you with a
perfectly good drawing surface underneath. I would be very sorry to see
this product disappear.
