I received my training as a botanical illustrator at the New York
Botanical Garden in Bronx.
They have excellent teachers and courses. I can send you names
and phone numbers if you would like me to.  They also have a
catalog of all the classes they offer.
If you tell me where you are located I could maybe also get you
information on similar things in you area.
It's a lot of fun so don't give up!
