As those of you who know me may have surmised...

I will be leaving my position as Scientific Illustrator with the Dept. of
Anthropology at the Natl. Mus. of Natural History. I have accepted a
professorial position in the Dept. of Fine Arts at Indiana Univ. South
Bend. I will be developing and teaching in the graphic design program.

I am looking forward to finishing my dissertation and finally getting my
PhD. I am also looking forward to doing some personal work of a less
technical nature. Perhaps some children's book stuff, some calligraphy,
some creative one-of-a-kind bookbinding projects.

I will be relocating to South Bend, Indiana in June/July. This will be
quite a project for me, as I will be accompanied by 2 dogs and a bunch of
birds (cockatoos that get carsick, no less). Moving should be an adventure
to say the least.

I will let you know when I have my new address and e-mail (e-mail may take
a while). I will re-join this list once my e-mail is established. I hope
that you -- my friends and fellow illustrators -- will keep in touch.
