Hi Lynne,
What is your URL? I'd love to check out your site.
You're likely to get interest if you have a website!
The most polite reply would be no reply, especially to a letter such as the
one you posted. This person is your potential competition, and because her
inquiry is "cold" (you don't know him/her), motives might be suspect.
Friendly advice and sharing is one thing, but this person is overstepping
the boundaries, and 'pumping' you for hard earned experience.
You are under no obligation to respond, and good web etiquette will someday
read:
Beware of sending lengthy questionnaires to prospective mentors--given the
time constraints of our busy world, assume (unless otherwise informed) that
everyone's day is too short!
I know some people who receive and RESPOND to 50-60+ e-mail messages per
day. E-mail is another of those 'conveniences' which have robbed us of
time, rather than giving it back. I love it, tho!
Bye for now,
Chris
