That is a good system, as I can attest. For years I categorized
everything by date.
Example of my system, 01-04-98-2, which would mean January 4, 1998,
second picture filed that day.
Titles in alphabetical or category order can go on a separate index,
with the date following for location. All my jobs were so cataloged as
well. It is utterly simple. Not at all sophisticated. But I learned it
from an employer who did high volume printing. Joan
