Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this board and wanted to introduce myself. I apologize in advance
if I am overstepping or anything...I'm not quite sure of the rules yet!
Anyway, my name is Laura and I'm currently a biology student, trying to
figure out what to do with the degree once I complete it. I've just learned
about biological illustrators, and I'm very intrigued...to me, it sounds
like a perfect marriage of science and creativity. As someone just exploring
this field, I'm wondering if any of you have any advice you'd like to share.
Would a minor in Art and a major in biology suffice for a job like this, or
is an advanced degree needed? Are these types of jobs extremely difficult to
find? I'll be happy with any information you care to share.

Thanks, everyone!

Laura
