Emil,

One source of confusion for me now is whether the D drive is a hard drive
or a CD-Rom. All of your questions about the D drive suggested that it was
a hard drive. And the process I described was for such a beast. Your last
post suggests otherwise. If the D drive is a CD-Rom, then the process might
be even simpler. I don't have the Windows machine in front of me. But after
installing DOS, go to C: prompt and type <mscdex help> to access the online
help for enabling the CD-ROM from within DOS. Let us know how you made out.
