hi all,

just wanted to say i had my surgery last wednesday -- 
carpal tunnel release and cmc arthroplasty. it went well,
& the doc said that though he's seen worse, my thumb joint was in very bad
shape,
and was trying to fuse. good i didn,t put it off any longer!

looking forward to getting voice rec. software this week so i can write
transcript evaluations
for my students with capital letters -- though my fingers are not in the
cast, i can't yet use them.
drawing and painting are weeks away,
though i've been messing around with lefty watercolors ['messing'is the 
word]
