I would say that this list is intended to be primarily for the sharing
of information, but it also is a subculture of genuine friendships
begun by these common interests. It is the nature of friends to be
lighthearted with one another (and rightly so!). I like to think of
this list like a roomful of friends, with a lot of knowledge to impart
and the occasional offbeat banter.
Then again a code might be the answer to avoid losing good people.
