Greetings... 
(been out of commission a while)

In December, I went to the local art supply store (Bates) to restock on single-edge razor blades, and bought a box of 100 as usual.

After using a few, I realized to my surprise that they were dull.  It's not the brand I had normally been getting (in a red & black box - why didn't I save it?).  Bates ordered me some from X-acto. Those, too, were pretty dull.  Apparently, few people use them anymore.  (??)

I didn't realize that this basic tool, which I carry everywhere in lieu of a knife, was going extinct.  
:-(

Does anyone know what brand used to come in a red and black box?  
Or what kind you use that are sharp?
