Hi, I have been approached by a young Ph.D. botanist I know to render a species new to science for publication. I asked a friend and they said they thought these were still being done traditionally on rag paper and india ink. Is that still the case? Or does it vary by institution? Are there particular size guidelines? My friend said he used to commission work on herbarium-page sized sheets (11.5”X16.5”), but I thought I have seen some larger.
