On the other hand, it's worth doing a search on google using the guy's 
name.  I've received the same kind of fake query, but I also recently 
had a request for one of my prints from a stranger in California; I was 
suspicious but when I did a search she did turn out to be a real person 
and I did in fact sell her a print.
