Karen (and others who may be wondering) -
The fees should have been at the end of the info, but in case it didn't get
transmitted correctly, the fee for tuition, room, and board for the week is
$500 for GNSI or CAA (Center for American Archeology) members, and $550 for
non-members.
There is no additional room fee for coming in a night early, but students will
have to purchase meals on their own that day (meals are covered the 5 days of
the actual workshop only). We got a great deal on meals - a new bed &
breakfast is opening a few miles down the road, and the woman running it will
be preparing meals from produce she is growing, or from local farmers, little
or no fried food (revolutionary in these parts!), and willing to accomodate
special requests. We are also planning a "welcome" cookout on Sunday night for
all students, staff, and participants in other field schools that same week
(there will be a flintknapping workshop and an excavation field school also
going on the same week here). We will eat well!
