I give each assignment a number Year+sequential number. So I am using 081230 for my next project. If
that were the last project of the year, my first project next year would be 091231.

If you wanted you could add a month in as well: 08081230

I then add a description to the project folder name and some alternate description text to various
files in the project:

__ 08081230_AquariusSpacecraft
    __ 08081230_Aquarius3Dmodels
	-file
	-file
	-etc.
	__ Textures
	     -file
	     -file
	     -etc.
    __ Aquarius SourceMaterial
	-file
	-file
	-etc.
    __ Aquarius Renders
	-08081230_1Spacecraft.psd
	-08081230_2Spacecraft.psd
	-08081230_3Spacecraft.psd

When you archive this material in something like Portfolio 8 the file names can be used as search
info. Probably works in Adobe Bridge as well.

If you are doing large amounts of Photos, you need to institute keyword tagging and be methodical
about adding them in some sort of visual database. Or set up a series of nested folders with folder
names as keywords these words are added to the keyword lists.
