Launi says she will do her drawing in "the traditional way" apologetically.
Don't apologize if you are going to draw with plain old pen and ink! I
suspect it is faster than many digital methods for certain drawings. And
if you learn what is a good line drawing traditionally, you know the goal
digitally.

o.k. - so I'm an old-fashioned 60-year-old. I know how much time I spend
at the computer with my eyes burning from staring at the screen too much.
I'd prefer burning my eyes at the drawing board enjoying the feel of the
pen in my hand and on the paper with the result more than a thin piece of
printout or a diskette/cd.

But drawing on the screen is fun, too. It is just another tool.
Admittedly, I have not done computer graphics in years. My computer time
is spent writing. But when I did it I had fun. All computer work is
addictive, like TV.

And I don't have a TV, either.
