Yesterday and today strange thinks happened to my e-mail messages
     coming from this list.
For every one I tried to open I got a Cc mail Error message: "An error
has occurred in your program...bla, bla...CLOSE or IGNORE" If I pressed
either Close or the Ignore buttons, I got the second Win95 error message:
"Ccmail This program has performed an illegal operation" which (if you
are familiar with Windows 95), shuts down immediately whatever
program you are in, and in this particular instance, my Ccmail - no mercy
     no excuses just like that... :)}

I have no problem with reading other messages coming from other places
to my Ccmail. I asked my system operator, and this what she said:

    >Just for your information, I talked with Gene this morning and he said
    >the same thing had happened to another user, and they actually had to
    >unsubscribe from the listserve. Apparently, their e-mail was sending
    >some corrupted characters that cc:mail couldn't read, and therefore kept
    >crashing cc:Mail.
    >That might be what you should do, if it is only this one listserve
    >that you are having trouble with.

I knew that this list had some interesting characters, but
     "corrupted"?...<:-)

Could it be again the new software at fault?

     Please help,

     Emil
