Non-NU Email Greetings on a refreshingly cool, cloudy summer day. Does anyone know of a good tutorial, written or video, for students on developing a traditional scientific illustration composition digitally? That is, using photos of sketches and references to build composition options that will be rendered traditionally. A step between thumbnails and preliminary drawings. I use traditional thumbnails and mock-ups; cut and paste sketches; and Photoshop with lots of layers and masking when composing digitally. Or I’ll use Procreate. Thanks. This is something many do without thinking, but it’s not intuitive for students or those whose final product is traditional media.
