Hi everyone--
There are 2 part-time positions open here at the Yale Peabody
Museum's Graphics Lab that I've been asked to spread the word on. In
case anyone is interested descriptions are in the attached text doc
(saved out of Netscape), but I clipped the short descriptions below.
I can answer questions about the museum, but the positions are not in
my department. I don't know anything about salary, but jobs of 20+
hours do carry benefits. Info on benefits, etc. can be found at
Yale's job postings site at http://www.yale.edu/hronline/xtrack/ (to
see the postings search using Peabody Museum as the keywords under
Clerical & Technical positions older than 2 weeks), but I've been
told that if you want salary information it's best to get a live
person on the phone at the Yale Human Resources Department
(203/432-5703).
Good luck!
Rosemary
1. This is strictly a production job; the Graphics Lab designs and
produces almost all the printed matter for the Museum, including
signage support for exhibits. There is no illustration involved,
although they're looking for someone creative with a good sense of
design.
