Phil Vogel recommended (via the listserv in mid-January) that readers
peruse "Real World Scanning and Halftones" by David Blatner and Steve
Roth. I seconded the recommendation then, and still do. In fact, a
review of the book I am writing for the GNSI Newsletter will appear n
an upcoming issue.

Again I will state that if you know a printer, see if they would get
it for you through the National Association of Printers and
Lithographers (800) 642-NAPL (6275) where you can get a substantial
discount.
