Slow cable modems? Here in Vancouver  someone got mad at the local cable
company recently and cut the cable! (this company's had lots of PR
problems). Left several areas of the city without internet or cable TV
service while they had to  track down where the cut was and fix it.  Some
things you just can't plan for...
