Hi Liz,
            I buy boxes of 100 single edge blades from ACE Hardware.  They are consistently sharp, and cheap.  I also find that clear, non-yellow Krylon (for a drawing fixative) is also cheaper at the hardware store than the art supply store.  Hope this helps.
