Trust that your trip went well.
I assume that Aravind passed on the message that Dr Sharma would not be
coming to Tatura next week.
I will be in Shepparton this Wednesday for a meeting to do with a
CSIRO-driven ecosytems services project. I will be arriving Tues night and I
am due to leave again Wed afternoon. I was going to try to do an early
morning drive to the saline water re-use expt site and also my small tree
trial near Tatura. My meeting starts at 8.45 am. I would love to catch up
with you re: Pakistan, getting a m/s out of the re-use study etc. Would you
be interested in a brief 'breakfast' meeting at ISIA or on site? My meeting
will be in the 'Carrington' in Shepparton. Pls advise.

Subject: drainage of swamps by tree planting
Dear salinity friends,
I am looking for a reference to a case study that I saw quoted once on the
successful drainage of swamps/wetlands in northern Italy by the planting of
Eucalypts. I would be much gratefull for any information on this case or any
other references related to this issue.
