>OK I have 1998 and 2000????Any help?
>Geoffrey...oh and thank you all for responding
My first thought was, that's easy. I was pregnant. But then, I was
pregnant in both 1998 and 2000. So then, I was trying to recall where we
camped since both years were rather wet.
The microburst year, we camped with a lady from well-outside tornado alley
and she was panicked. We basically lied to her about the eminent danger
because the safest place for her (by that time the storm was already upon
us) was on site and she simply wasn't prepared to stick it out. That was 1998.
The year of water plus more high winds was 2000. That's the year I was
'wearing' Thomas in a baby sling when the pole of the marshal tent came
down rather forcefully on top of my head. I thanked G-d Thomas was in a
sling so that I couldn't drop him when I suddenly found myself on my knees.
I hope that clarifies why people might give both years in answer. The
Lilies site sustained heavy weather-related damage both years. I do think
that 1998 was overall worse but maybe because we all learned from that
experience and planned accordingly.
