well, that takes away my first response!! ;-)
otherwise, force yourself to forget you didn't want to do this (you're
stuck, time to move on!), and try to think of what you would draw if you
were creating a gift to a favorite child -- son, daughter, niece,
nephew, neighbor, imaginary, etc. That might free up those old creative
juices!
If you can, go to a zoo and watch kids' faces as they watch the animals
-- pure delight! it might inspire you.
