This is a daily blog from the wardrobe mistress at the Plimoth
Plantation about an embroidered jacket project they are doing.
Technically, the jacket they are doing is just post period (1620 - based
on the Laton jacket in the V&A) but there has been all kinds of research
going into this that applies to period. The majority of the embroidery
is all being done by volunteers. Bobbin lace was recently added to the
project. I'm hooked :).
