I had been following his work for a while. Impressive. Much of what he
does is more beautiful than frightening at first look, but a gazillion
of anything shown together is always visually interesting. Kind of like
the opening of the Olympics--it was gorgeous (choreographed by a
Chinese US citizen) until one switches gears and thinks about how much
is required to support in healthy conditions all of those performers.
If each throws away a paper cup from tea. . . My mind can't quite grasp
it, just as I can't really fathom the Milky Way. Joan
