Two general comments:
You need to make the text of your site banner bolder, or the background
image lighter/less contrasty, or a combination of both. It is too hard
to read now.
On your homepage blog you need to talk up your art a big more. I was not
even sure from the text if this was your art or just stuff you found
interesting that you wanted in your blog.
