I have the same problem with garbled messages in the digest. It didn't  
use to be the case, but I can't say how long it's been going on --  
maybe the last year? Less? Anyone know when  it began to happen?

In general if folks would not include all the old back-and-forths in  
their reply it would help us digest-receivers a lot, and it would  
pretty much take care of this issue as well. And it would save energy,  
believe it or not!
