Another thing to consider, besides the cost, is the waste of resources
that shipping often entails. Plus, I think it is good to work with your
and small businesses. You can establish a good relationship
and have more input into the outcome face to face. You can help the
business improve its quality by working with them.
You support your local economy. Live local when you can,
and we all get "richer".

Thank you. Though by the time I pay for roundtrip shipping of 18 x 24"
paintings (not to mention the time packaging everything) I might as
well have paid the San Francisco rates. :(
