Hi Consie,
We just got a Verizon MiFi HotSpot for our beach cabin, and it's working
very well for us. It came with software to connect my MacBook Pro and my
husband's PC. You shouldn't need anything else. There are choices of
download limits, but we were told that if we exceed what we signed up
for, they'll just bill us for the next increment and not interrupt our
service. So far it's been great, faster and more reliable than the
service we had before. We've used it for travel as well.
