For the record -
 
 I use a computer as a tool in making my final images, but no illustrations I know of are ever simply "generated on a computer".

And yep - usually photographs - on an image by image basis - take a LOT less time to make. And historically have commanded better prices AND much more careful credit lines attached to the image.

Illustration prices HAVE been flat, for most of my 30 year career. Amazing when you think how little else has stayed the same price in this world since 1985.

 And it IS - still- a shame. Long standing historical shame. Sigh.
