Below is a message from Ed DeWalt, the organizer the 2004 ECN meeting. The program for the
meeting has been set (see attachment). I hope to see all of you there!

The ECN meeting is just around the corner. Join us at the SLC Hilton on
Saturday morning, 13 November. We are still accepting registrations,
but will conduct on-site registration beginning at 7 am Saturday, 13
November. The Saturday sessions beginning at 8:30 and include "Vision
for the Future of Collections and Systematics, A Panel Discussion" and
"Challenges of Incorporating Material from Large BS&I Grants, TOL and
Other Major NSF Programs". The mixer runs 6:30-8:30 pm that evening. A
Sunday session includes "Use of Museum Collections to Track Species
Distributions". Several additional talks on microscopy, NSF systematic
biology programs, and an invitation to regional collections will follow.
The business meeting begins around 10:30 am. See the pdf attachment for
