here are a few more ways you can be involved with our 2017 Annual Conference.
We are off to a great start with some very interesting presenters and really intriguing topics lined up. But we are extending the invitation to you too! This is a great opportunity to share your work with a large audience. If you have never given a talk, this is a perfect place to start. Certainly you will not find a more welcoming and appreciative audience than the members and friends of the Guild!
There are several options. You can give a 50-minute talk of your work in general or a specific project; or join with several fellow illustrators and do a group presentation (TED talk-style) of 15-20 minutes each. You can also volunteer to sit on a panel, discussing a variety of subjects including marketing and business practices.
Do you have an exciting new technique to share? Or an old technique expertly executed? Then you could also consider being included in the 2017 Techniques Showcase! We are looking for both traditional and digital tools and techniques.
If you would like to give a talk or sit on a Panel, please get in touch with Elizabeth Morales ([log in to unmask]) or Peter Green ([log in to unmask]). They would be happy to talk with you about your ideas.
If you would like to be part of the Techniques Showcase please send a brief description of your technique to Robin Carlson ([log in to unmask]).
We look forward to hearing from you!
