In January 2020, we heard from Tammy Cloutier who posted herein asking if anyone ever participated in allied conferences. I followed up on her email (but have yet to talk with her directly) and reached Kevin Connor, Communications Exec. with ConsMark Conference October 2021 scheduled for St. Petersburg, FL (https://www.linkedin.com/in/kevintconnor/).

Kevin indicates his parent group, Society for Conservation Biology, formed a working group specifically to address Conservation Marketing & Engagement (ConsMark) (https://www.consmark.org/about-us/). He advises that his Board of Directors met last week following my note and agreed to an interest in working with GNSI.

Kevin has asked to continue the dialogue (likely to determine what our participation might look like) and to do so via Zoom. Because I am new to the organization, I am appealing to more established members with an interest in Conservation and/or GNSI outreach to join me in scheduling a mutual time to meet online. The conference for 2021 is scheduled in Florida, so of course of great interest to GNSI Florida, however I see much broader opportunities for all.
