In case you have not joined yet, you owe it to yourself to get that done. I am on the Board of Directors of ASCRL and in 2020 ASCRL distributed over $540,000 to its thousands of illustrator and photographer members. ASCRL currently has signed agreements with 4 sister societies and is actively developing new relationships which are likely to increase distributions over the next few years. The ASCRL Advisory Board has already established that there will be 2-3 distributions to illustrators and photographers in 2021 and in 2022.
The US illustration and photography communities have waited decades to see non-title specific reprographic royalty money go to individual creatives (as it does in so many other countries), and its finally happening.
