Hi to all,
I've been away on a trip to the Caribbean side (of Costa Rica), working
with a photographer to capture some of the plants typical of that area. I
also picked up some intersting seeds to illustrate. A highlight of the trip
was a boat ride up the canal to Tortuguero...great vegetation and birds
(the best being Great Green Macaws).
As I wasn't around during most of the Handbook discussion, I wanted to add
a suggestion. As some illustrators create interpretive work that will be
on nature trails or in other outdoor exposed areas, I wondered if something
could be included on available materials that can withstand outdoor
conditions. Perhaps this would fit in Part I/3 - Materials, Construction,
and Care of Scientific Illustrations.
