The Chicago Public Library (CPL)is searching for scientific illustrators
interested in teaching workshops during June, July, and August, 2000 (I
think June 12- Aug 6???). They hope for a committment of 40 workshops,
with the workshop duration to be decided by the instructor. The workshops
would be for children and the focus would be on dinosaurs, using specimens
from the Field Museum. Workshops would be held at various library branches
(CPL system has 78 branches)and most intructors do three workshops a day.
Because each workshop would be at a different location, only one workshop
needs to be developed by the instructor.
The hourly fee is to be determined by the instructor and CPL.
If anyone is interested or has questions, please let me know.
