> Nov 22 - Michio Kaku: "Visualizing the Invisible: Hyperspace and and the
> Origin of the Universe". $10.
I heard one of his lectures. A very animated, funny
speaker....great at explaining simplistic topics like string theory and
the
unified field search to the lay listener. : ) His books are available via
amazon.com
but what brings the subject matter to life is Michio himself. .
He said his goal is to explain how the world of physics works without
using any math! It is possible to *describe* the physics world to others
in this way, but physics in *practice* is pure mathematical language.
So he is dedicated to sharing the cosmic realms with those of us who
do not speak math fluently. (that would be me)
$10 is a steal. I envy you New Yorkers!
