Professor of Illustration

The Savannah College of Art and Design seeks candidates for full-time faculty positions in illustration. Qualified candidates should have a terminal degree or its equivalent in illustration or a related field.  Candidates should have professional experience of producing illustration in both traditional and digital media. Several years of commercial experience and college-level teaching experience preferred. Strong drawing skills are essential as well as a unique style, aesthetic and viewpoint. The ability to encourage experimentation and to help students generate work in a range of styles and media would add dimension to the department.
