A bit of caution here.  I have a Box.net account also, but once left a direct-access url open to a painting I had done that I wanted to show selected individuals.  A month or so later I got a note from Box.net that it had been <b>downloaded </b>more than 60 times in the intervening period.  One needs to be certain he&#39;s using the right url, and that the specifics of who can download the image are specified.  <br>
<br>Anyone can download anything from Flickr, and for Pete&#39;s sake <i>never </i>put anything important to you on Facebook.  Stuff is stolen there right and left, including from so-called art sharing sites.<br><br>The only image-sharing site I know of where your images can&#39;t be downloaded, even by right-clicking on the image, is Zenfolio.  Check out <a href="http://www.zenfolio.com">www.zenfolio.com</a>.<br>

  Box.net. I only have the free version, but I understand you can do a bit more 
  with the paid version - still, the free version gives you lots of control 
  about who can or cannot view, edit, and upload your content. Facebook photo 
  albums have a pretty simple feature that allow you to copy and paste a URL for 
  public viewing, and the viewer doesn&#39;t have to log in to Facebook. Probably 
  Flickr is the same (so far, I&#39;ve resisted the temptation to get involved with 
  Flickr..!).

  the image. On Box.net, you&#39;d have the option of making the URL accessible ONLY
