Having just attended the last BOD meeting I think that travel costs may be a major factor.

I have no "privileged" information but the costs of travel have to be heavy.  I know they all have to travel to Milpitas but the HQ people would not and they have all the files etc already there.

It might have something to do with the new corporate structure and the home office being located in CA.
