Class proposals are now being accepted for the Known World Metal and Glass Symposium, September 4-7, 2015, in Mankato, MN.

  • Glass: Stained Glass, Bead Making/Lampwork, Cloisonne/Enameling
  • Metal: Engraving, Casting, Blacksmithing, Knife Making, Armoring, Repousse & Chasing, Jewelry Making, Smelting, Coining, and Chain Mail
  • Pottery: Throwing, Glazes and Firing
  • And more

Please email Constanza de Sevilla at [log in to unmask] with the following if you are interested in teaching:

  • Your Name (both modern and SCA name, contact information Including phone number and email)
  • Class Name
  • Class Description
  • Class Length
  • Electricity and Water Needs (we cannot guarantee access to electricity or running water)
  • Age Limit and if participants can be under the age limit with adult supervision
  • Class Size Limit
  • Recommended Clothing and Safety Equipment
  • Class Fees
  • If students should bring their own tools
  • Any other important information regarding your class

Class sessions are 55 minutes long with a five minute break, and can last for more than one session. If you are can or are bringing a shade fly or other structure for your workspace, please include the size and space for ropes.
