Perhaps some of you have heard of the Koch Foundation and its attempts to create specific learning centers/foundations at various institutions.

This has been in the news in North Carolina recently, with Western Carolina University having accepted such funding and now hiring several faculty sympathetic to and willing to work at such a foundation.

I had the opportunity to speak with the reporter that has been covering this issue. She would be interested in learning more about the economics profession
