We would like to invite paper proposals to Themed Sessions at the 2017 Biennial Conference of the Royal Musical Association Music and Philosophy Study Group.

There are five Themed Sessions each with its own call for papers.  Submissions to all Themed Sessions are due by 15 October 2016. Please be certain to consult each Themed Session’s web page, listed below, for appropriate submission procedures.

 

• Rethinking Collaborative Authorship through Music
• Repetition, Repetition, Repetition
• Musical Nonhumans
• Feeling in Music and Sound: Atmosphere, Stimmung, Mood
• Music in Video Games

Decisions on paper acceptance will be made by the session organisers and vetted by the full programme committee. Final decisions on paper acceptance will be communicated by 15 November 2016.
