The Society for Seventeenth-Century Music will hold its Twenty-Fifth Annual Conference from Thursday through Sunday, 20–23 April 2017, in Providence, RI, hosted by the Department of Music at Providence College. Proposals on all aspects of seventeenth-century music and its cultural contexts are welcome. Presentations may take a variety of formats, including individual papers 20 minutes in length, lecture-recitals (45 minutes), workshops involving group participation, roundtable discussions, and panel sessions.
