The Study Group on Jewish Studies and Music of the American Musicological
Society is pleased to announce the third annual award for an exceptional
scholarly work from the past two years in the overlapping fields of music
and Jewish Studies. The committee will accept nominations of books,
articles, scholarly recording projects, scholarly editions of music and
works of digital humanities published or produced in 2015 or 2016, and will
choose a single winner from among the candidates, to be announced at the
November 2017 meeting of the Study Group at the AMS conference in
Rochester,NY.


Please send nominations, including self-nominations, in the form of
complete bibliographic citations to Mark Kligman: mkligman -at-
schoolofmusic.ucla.edu by April 30, 2017.
