It is rather pricey but we managed to negotiate a lower price. Even with the lower price I dont think it would be cost effective for anything other that Coronation or Crown Tourney (or another event that can pull 200+ people!)
The upstairs areas are mostly facia or storage areas but the balcony is functional and there are a couple other areas that are usable. I'd rather not take the chance of damaging anything in the building by doing any fighting in this room, it really is amazing if you ever get to see it in person.

Oh, wow. Since it is permanent, instead of temporary stage prop, it is more durable and you can probably do things with it that you couldn't with a cardboard or lightweight constructed stage area.

Can you climb up inside it?

I can think of lots of things that could be done with this. Such as rapier street fights and period style college brawls not needing lots of authorization. 

Do you get to use the site very often? Or are there scheduling or cost problems?

Wow! What a nice backdrop for an indoor SCA event.

Is that permanent? or part of a play or something? Easy to imagine you are in the street in some German town.
