I prefer Google Sites, myself, for event pages. You can embed custom maps, live documents with multiple editors, and have multiple editors for the pages themselves. I've thrown together pages in 30 minutes for multiple events & then passed it along to the steward for event upkeep. To me, it's even easier than WordPress. 🤷 It's at least another easy option.

Now that's an exciting idea!  One of the things I suspect organizers like about Facebook for event pages is that you can allow people to add things directly rather than needing to go through a webminister every time there's a change.  Event pages on the wiki would keep that ability!  I'm suggesting that to our Cattle Raids steward.
