Hello all!

My name is Emily Hrovat, and I am the new social media coordinator for AFEE! I am a second-year Ph.D. student at Colorado State University with research interests in the economic side of reproductive justice. I have spent the last few months building our social media presence and am ready to go live! However, I will need some assistance from you all to make it the best it can be.

Finally, here is where you all come in. We now have a blog (https://afeeblog.squarespace.com/). I plan to do two posts a week. Fridays will be a “this week in AFEE” feature, which will just include the kinds of things we see on the email list (news articles, book reviews, etc that are relevant to AFEE). This will primarily be a collection of “sound bites,” not necessarily a super in-depth writeup. So, if you see something that you think will fit, please send it my way! Then, on Mondays, I want to do a member highlight. I would love it if you could all send me a short blurb about yourself and some information about your research interests, publications, and current research (honestly, it can pretty much be your faculty bio on your institution’s website). Just whatever you would like to share.
