The Center for Beethoven Research at Boston University invites proposals
for brief presentations at our virtual symposium on Beethoven biography to
be held on Saturday, December 12, from 12:30 to 3:30 pm. The principal
stimulus for this symposium is the publication of Lewis Lockwood's latest
book, Beethoven's Lives: The Biographical Tradition. Your presentation may
address any aspect of Beethoven biography, but we hope that, if possible,
you might also address some of the questions and historical observations
raised in Lockwood's book.

Presentations should last no longer than ten minutes, so that we may have a
wide variety of points of view represented. Please send your proposals by
November 15 to Jeremy Yudkin, Co-Director of the Beethoven Center at
yudkinj -at- bu.edu.
